Do you have proven experience in overseeing Infraction work, process governance and department budgets? Are you a top-tier leader who enjoys leading and developing a team? We want you to join our exciting team in London, Ontario!
What You Will Do
Oversee the monitoring and execution of all Infraction work within compliance timelines and ensure records adhere to internal and external compliance standards
Manage and develop front-line unionized and non-unionized staff by accessing strengths and opportunities, giving feedback, and motivating direct reports to optimize performance
Ensure company processes and procedures are followed to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of Infraction clerical staff.
Provide recommendations for process improvement, system enhancements and operational efficiencies through industry benchmarking, report analysis, observation and response to trends
Provide operational support and resolve escalations for internal and external contacts
Perform resource cost-benefits analysis as required (hire additional resources, use of overtime, contracting out, etc.) to support strategic labor management decisions.
Provide after-hours 24/7 Emergency On Call in rotation.
You will have the following to be successful:
Related university degree and six‐plus years’ experience OR eight‐plus years of previous field operations experience. A combination of equivalent mix of formal education and experience may also be considered.
Result oriented, highly motivated with an ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with diverse teams as well as leadership
Excellent interpersonal skills including building consensus, negotiation and facilitation
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient working with software applications including Microsoft Office applications
Experience leading people in a collective bargaining environment and understanding of labour relations practices and principles is considered as an asset.
Working knowledge of Maximo and Work Order Structures is preferred
Occasional overnight travel required.
