About The Role
Reporting to Site Manager, the Jr. Materials Coordinator will be responsible for collaborating with various departments such as reliability, engineering, operations, maintenance, supply management and the warehouse to ensure efficient flow of all materials. The Materials Coordinator receives materials packages from the client warehouse and compares these against the Bill of Materials for accuracy and organizes day-to-day material movement to and from the shops. The Jr. Materials Coordinator role is imperative to ensure that all materials in Bitumen Production are accounted for and effectively and efficiently managed. This role will assist in improving schedule compliance and reducing procurement issues by creating a single point of contact for procurement issues and creating of BP item masters. This is a full time, fly in fly out position located at out CNRL Horizon Project Site, on a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule,
As a Jr. Materials Coordinator at Graham, you will:

Ensure the timely delivery, receipt and processing of project materials

Collaborate closely with the client, maintaining organization and exhibiting strong time management skills

Maintain official material receiving and vendor documentation in the electronic records management system
-
Creation and review of job cost reports for inconsistencies, such as material mischarges
-
Provide material visibility and status through consistent data management
-
Request ROP and ROQ changes to avoid stock out situations as well as opportunities to reduce stock carried inthe warehouse

Ensure all material certificate requirements are specified at time of item master creation to align with CNRL standard
-
Utilize procedures to guarantee best value and services to the client, ensuring efficient material ordering and tracking
Qualifications/Experience:

3+ years of professional experience in material coordinating
-
Technical knowledge/understanding of piping materials
-
Experience with and knowledge of materials management systems and their setup, implementation, support and utilization

Strong computer software applications skills, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and have the ability to learn new systems quickly

Excellent verbal and written skills
-
Must have a valid Class 5 driver's license

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure in a fast-paced, high-production environment Ability to work independently

Reliability in attendance, willing and able to work overtime as business needs require
