1-Tom-Plumber is a fast-growing franchise in Cambridge. We take pride in delivering high-quality plumbing solutions for residential and commercial projects. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a skilled and motivated apprentice plumber to join our team!
We are seeking goal oriented and dedicated team members, who appreciate a family atmosphere! We are looking for an apprentice plumber who is motivated, ready to learn, and able to work independently.
Compensation will vary depending on experience.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and oral)
- Experience with heavy lifting and physical labor associated with plumbing tasks.
- Strong willingness to learn
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Teamwork oriented with a self-starter ability
- Able to perform daily responsibilities listed below:
- Responsibilities (under supervision and direction of licensed Journeyman plumber):
- Maintain consistent communication with dispatch
- Represent 1-Tom-Plumber in a professional, courteous and customer service-oriented manner
- Perform rough-in and finishing plumbing on residential and/or commercial construction sites
- Assist with installing water supply, drainage, and venting systems
- Work with copper, PEX, ABS, PVC, and other common plumbing materials
- Test systems for leaks and ensure compliance with all applicable codes
- Follow safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other trades for timely completion
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.
- Properly clean and maintain equipment and vehicle
- Participate in on-call rotation and rapidly respond to customer’s plumbing emergencies
