Duties
- Greet guests warmly and guide them through the menu, offering recommendations and answering questions about food and beverages
- Take accurate orders using a POS (Point of Sale) system, ensuring timely and efficient service
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with safety standards and company policies
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments through Micros POS or similar systems
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, tables, and service stations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their visit, addressing any concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience
- Assist in food handling and serving food items when necessary, adhering to proper food safety protocols
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, with a strong foundation in customer service and hospitality
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or equivalent cash register technology
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy service hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and change calculations
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to serve diverse guests professionally
- Experience in serving alcohol responsibly while adhering to legal requirements
