Join a growing Vancouver-based technology company developing IoT-enabled reusable-container solutions that help foodservice organizations reduce disposable packaging. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on technician who enjoys building hardware, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring products are ready for customers.
As a Production Technician, you will support the complete hardware build-to-ship lifecycle, assembling, testing, inspecting, documenting, and preparing IoT devices such as smart return bins, checkout devices, and scanning stations.
Assemble, configure, test, inspect, and prepare IoT hardware for shipment.
Follow detailed assembly instructions, production procedures, and quality standards.
Conduct functional, performance, and reliability testing.
Troubleshoot hardware, assembly, and product-quality issues.
Document test results, defects, repairs, and production activities.
Maintain accurate procurement, inventory, assembly, and quality records.
Keep the hardware lab organized, safe, and production-ready.
Identify and communicate supply-chain, inventory, quality, or production concerns.
Independently resolve routine and non-standard problems while escalating issues when appropriate.
Hands-on experience in hardware production, manufacturing, electronics assembly, or a related technical environment.
Experience supporting products through assembly, testing, quality verification, and shipment.
Strong troubleshooting skills and a quality-focused mindset.
Excellent attention to detail, documentation, and recordkeeping abilities.
Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving production environment.
Ability to work onsite in Vancouver, BC.
