Position Overview
TCS is a growing company present in Southern Ontario offering services to the construction industry at large. We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Python Operator to support our automation, data, and system workflows. The Python Operator will be responsible for running, monitoring, and maintaining Python-based scripts and applications, ensuring reliable execution of daily operations. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain Python scripts or programs for automation, data processing, and system tasks.
- Operate and monitor Python-based applications to ensure smooth daily execution.
- Debug and troubleshoot errors in Python code and suggest improvements.
- Integrate Python scripts with databases, APIs, or third-party tools.
- Document code, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with IT, data, or engineering teams to improve efficiency through automation.
- Perform scheduled or on-demand runs of Python programs and verify outputs.
- Ensure compliance with coding best practices and security guidelines.

- Ability and functional Safety handling using Crane lifting heavy material
- Grinding experience
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python programming (knowledge of key libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Requests, etc.).
- Experience in automation, scripting, or application support.
- Basic knowledge of databases (SQL or NoSQL).
- Familiarity with Linux/Windows command line operations.
- Understanding of version control (e.g., Git).
