Bradford Facility for: Design Engineer
Spectra Aluminum Products are seeking a skilled Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and developing innovative designs for various products. This position offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects and contribute to the design process from concept to completion.
Critical Success Factors:
Work in collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams in all aspects of process improvement, production implementation and data collection.
Developing new and improving process to allow the maximization of production resources, in alignment with the facilities goals.
Responsible for Process Management aspects such as document control, implementation, and monitoring of process controls in various manufacturing processes, including daily review of process inputs/outputs, as well as identifying and correcting significant or unacceptable process variation and excursions.
Key Attributes of the Ideal Candidate:
Utilize drafting software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD to create detailed designs
Apply mechanical knowledge to design components and systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop system designs
Commitment to learning, by way of advanced courses and/or a university degree.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, fluent in both oral and written English.
Strong understanding of system design principles
Ability to draft detailed technical drawings
Proficient with standard office computer software’s/applications such as Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), as well as ERP systems.
