Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and licensed Mechanic to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automotive repair, dealership service, and maintenance, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles using advanced tools and schematics, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. A valid mechanic license and dealership experience are highly preferred for this position.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics and repairs using both hand tools and power tools
- Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Repair or replace faulty components including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
- Weld and perform assembly tasks as needed to restore vehicle functionality
- Lift heavy components safely during repairs and maintenance procedures
- Maintain detailed records of all repairs, parts used, and services performed
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance needs clearly to clients
Skills
- Proven mechanic experience with strong mechanical knowledge
- Dealership experience is highly desirable
- Proficiency in welding, schematics reading, and assembly processes
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of automotive repair techniques across various vehicle makes and models
- Strong maintenance background with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Excellent customer service skills with clear communication abilities
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $23.59-$48.62 per hour
