We currently have a full-time position available for a Shop Cleaner / Maintenance Person at our Salisbury location.
This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment in a busy heavy-duty truck and trailer repair shop. The successful candidate will work closely with the Service Department and assist with general shop maintenance and operational support. This is a physically demanding, hands-on position that requires regular heavy lifting, frequent bending, standing for extended periods, and working both indoors and outdoors. Daily duties include sweeping and maintaining large shop areas using industrial cleaning equipment and brooms.
Responsibilities and Requirements:

Perform daily cleaning and housekeeping duties throughout the heavy-duty repair shop, including sweeping, removing debris, and maintaining clean and organized work areas

Perform general shop and facility maintenance, including minor repairs and basic equipment upkeep

Assist with maintaining shop equipment, including identifying and reporting maintenance or repair needs

Assist with shipping and receiving duties as required

Perform local parts pickups and deliveries when needed

Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of outdoor shop and yard areas

Assist the Service Department with general shop support and other duties as assigned

Follow all company health and safety procedures and maintain a strong commitment to a safe workplace
Qualifications:

Valid Class 5 Driver’s License is required

Previous experience in an industrial, mechanical, warehouse, or heavy-duty shop environment is considered an asset

Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment

Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision

Strong work ethic and willingness to support different areas of the operation as required
