We are looking for a motivated, around the clock hustler who defines their success as making sure everyone else is also successful, Construction Manager to oversee these projects from start to finish who takes accountability for the job and is proud of the results based on our client’s feedback
Responsibilities:
- OVERSEER - Lead construction projects from initial planning through to final delivery.
- NITTY GRITTY - Create detailed scopes of work, accurate cost estimates, and budgets for all aspects of the fit-out, collaborating with clients, consultants and designers.
- TEAM COLLABORATOR - Manage project schedules, identifying critical paths to ensure key milestones are met while coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers.
- ACCURACY AND FAIRNESS - Manage the tender process, issuing tenders to subcontractors, review submissions, and negotiate contracts to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
- QUARTERBACKING - Communicate effectively with clients, in-house design team, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
- TECHNICAL DETAILS - Ensure compliance with City inspections, Toronto building codes, permit drawings, safety regulations, and health and safety standards while managing the on-site construction team.
- CUSTOMER SERVICE - Manage deficiencies and ensure timely resolution before project closeout, preparing comprehensive closeout packages for clients.
- PLANNING AND RISK MANAGEMENT - Monitor project progress, quality, and adherence to timelines, providing clear and timely progress reports to senior management and clients.
- Identify and resolve issues proactively, maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring project completion to the highest standards, on time, and within budget.
- TECHNOLOGY - Utilize construction management software and project tracking tools to effectively manage resources and timelines, leading a collaborative and solutions-oriented team.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing office and medical fit-out projects for a minimum of 5 years.
- Experience in creating scopes of work and budgets for construction projects.
- An individual who is always reviewing and re-engineering for the next job to be done more effectively, and to a higher standard while keeping costs down

Pay: $95,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
