Internal IT Support/ EDI and IMAP Compliance Specialist

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Assistant to support both our internal systems and key business processes, including online pricing compliance.
Position Overview
This role combines hands-on IT support with administrative oversight of online pricing compliance (MAP) and other admin related duties as required. The successful candidate will be comfortable managing systems and users while also collaborating with customers and internal teams to ensure adherence to company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Systems & Network Support
- Assist with day-to-day server and network support
- Maintain and support remote desktop environments and VPN access
- Monitor system performance and help resolve technical issues
User & Access Management
- Set up, modify, and disable user accounts across systems
- Manage password resets and enforce security best practices
- Maintain user permissions and access controls
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes
Microsoft Administration
- Support and administer Microsoft 365 / admin functions
- Manage user accounts, licensing, and permissions
- Provide support for Outlook, Teams, and related tools
MAP Pricing Administration (Customer & Compliance Focus)
- Work with customers and internal teams to ensure compliance with MAP (Minimum Advertised Pricing) policies
- Monitor online listings and identify pricing discrepancies
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding required pricing adjustments
- Maintain records and follow up to ensure compliance standards are met
- Collaborate with sales and management to resolve pricing concerns
Technical Support & Projects
- Provide front-line support for hardware and software issues
- Troubleshoot problems and escalate when necessary working with our off-site IT experts
- Participate in system improvements, automation, and internal IT projects
- Communicate clearly with teams to ensure project progress and completion
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
- Post-secondary education in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Hands-on experience with:
- Server and system support (basic to intermediate)
- User account administration and access control
- Remote Desktop and VPN technologies
- Microsoft 365 / admin tools
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills (especially when working with customers and internal teams)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
- Experience working in a distribution or wholesale environment
- Exposure to network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls)
- Experience with compliance tracking or customer account management
- Familiarity with Excel for tracking and reporting
