Seeking an SMT Programmer/Technician to support the programming, setup, troubleshooting, and optimization of SMT production equipment in an electronics manufacturing environment.

Create, maintain, and update SMT machine programs for PCB assemblies.
- Support SMT equipment setup, operation, troubleshooting, and changeovers.
- Program and support SPI, AOI, solder paste printers, and reflow ovens.
- Perform first article verification and support new product introduction.
- Optimize equipment performance, OEE, utilization, and reflow profiles.
- Perform basic equipment and feeder maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Analyze defect and yield data and support root cause/corrective actions.
- Work with Engineering and Quality teams to improve SMT processes and yields.
- Support DFM reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train and provide technical support to production operators.

2-3+ years of SMT machine programming experience.
- Hands-on experience with SMT equipment and production troubleshooting.
- Experience with CAD/Gerber data, BOMs, component specifications, and machine programming.
- Strong understanding of electronic assembly processes.
- Knowledge of IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001.
- Experience with preventative maintenance and equipment debugging is an asset.
- Familiarity with Lean/continuous improvement and quality systems.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Technical diploma/degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience preferred.
