About the Position:
Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Sales Operations, the Sales System Analyst is responsible for driving the requirements gathering and testing for our CRM system and provide operational support to our Global sales team. A critical thinker, and technically proficient problem solver, the Sales System Analyst will focus on maximizing technology to drive efficiency by evaluating suggested enhancements, defining functional requirements, and coordinating related enhancement activities.
Work with internal stakeholders (sales, marketing, support) to ensure that the configuration supports business requirements
Manage SFDC enhancement projects to support business needs
Lead requirements sessions with business stakeholders to identify needs and opportunities
Define potential impacts to existing features and processes
Work with IT to integrate capabilities and data with upstream and downstream systems as necessary.
Lead or participate in UAT sessions with users for developed features
Keep management team apprised of project status, coordinating releases
Stay current with Salesforce and installed package releases, identifying features that can meet current or future business challenges
Understand administrator functions such as user management, profiles, roles, permissions, rules, assignment rules, queues, licenses, capacity and storage management
Have a working understanding of how new features in Salesforce.com are configured and iterate as necessary based on feedback from stakeholders
Work with end users to provide best practices and tips on Salesforce usage including training, documentation and support as necessary
Customize reporting and dashboards for various teams, provide reports and report training
Establish and implement best practices: system maintenance, security, improvements, data integrity, duplicates, backups, etc.
Use Data loader or Validity DemandTools to import and export data as needed
Create technical and/or business documentation of features
Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree
3-5 years of experience in a sales and marketing environment with an emphasis on system support maintenance and enhancement.
Certified Salesforce Administrator, Advanced Administrator
Ability to interact with business users and translate business needs into technology solutions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven analytical skills, business acumen, problem-solving ability and decision-making
Proven understanding of sales process
Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
Knowledge of CRM and related corporate business capabilities
Team-building, negotiation and influence skills
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines at a fast pace amidst changing requirements and ambiguity.
Flexibility and willingness to work on a variety of different types of projects.
Strong verbal communication and presentation skills. Ability to clearly articulate business objectives and manage large group discussions, including to senior management.
