Schedule:
- Typically Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Must be flexible to suit production, harvest, and weather needs.
- Some Saturday shifts required.
Salary: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Position Summary: We are looking for experienced DZ Truck Drivers to join our dedicated team. You will be responsible for safely transporting potatoes from our fields to our processing facility and storage locations. You will ensure that all cargo is loaded and unloaded properly while following all applicable laws and regulations. We are currently filling two full-time, permanent positions and two seasonal positions running from mid-July until November.
Key Responsibilities
- Safe Transport: Drive a DZ commercial vehicle to transport potatoes and farm supplies in compliance with traffic laws and MTO regulations.
- Inspections: Conduct mandatory pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe working order.
- Compliance: Maintain an accurate daily logbook, trip reports, and delivery documentation.
- Cargo Security: Load and unload potato cargo safely and securely, handling bulk produce with care from field to storage.
- Road Awareness: Adapt safely to changing traffic patterns, rural road conditions, and weather.
Requirements & Qualifications
- License: Valid Ontario Class DZ Driver’s License (or higher).
- Driving Record: Clean driving abstract and CVOR record.
- Experience: Proven commercial truck driving experience; agricultural hauling or moving bulk produce is a major asset.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work some Saturday shifts, particularly during high-demand planting and harvest windows.
- Physical Capability: Ability to handle physical labor, including loading operations in changing outdoor weather conditions.
