Works with Coordinator, team members and Leadership to ensure plans and programs are developed consistent with the Sister’s needs, abilities and interests.
Assist with evaluations of the effectiveness of the programs.
Comply with Health and Safety including WHMIS and other regulatory requirements.
Provide outings for the Sisters on a monthly basis. Such outings may include: Lake Marie cottage trips, theatre outings, shopping 1:1 of groups, family/friends visits.
Assist with creating opportunities for the Sisters to receive knowledge on community organizations and societal issues at present through guest speakers in-house/ outside house.
Assist with organization and assist in decoration for Special events throughout the calendar year.
Provide Sisters with support by taking/printing photos and assisting with special projects (i.e. wrapping presents)
Orientate and organize volunteers to and within SSND by offering them opportunities to help provide support to the Sisters in group and individual settings and monitor their programs.
Pay: $22.50-$23.50 per hour
