Penner Farm Services is looking for a Parts Counter Sales Representative to join our team! This position is located at our Lacombe AB location.
Responsibilities and duties:
- Handling in-person and over the phone sales enquiries with a high level of customer service and focus to convert enquiries into sales;
- Answering the telephone and routing calls as necessary; assisting customers with call-inenquiries.
- Responsible for prompt, friendly, professional service for in-store customers, working efficiently, minimizing wait times by ensuring the front counter is always staffed.
- Demonstrating excellent knowledge of our products, services, and policies, and successfully selling our features over competitive brands
- Initiating sales conversations with existing and potential customers; generating and following up on leads via telephone and email.
- Researching and sharing knowledge with customers on new product developments, existing parts and related components.
- Invoicing and preparing products for orders and maintaining a clean and professional store front.
- Price checking and monitoring sales batches as required.
- Loading and unloading product for customers and other transportation services as necessary.
Skills and abilities:
- Demonstrated experience in a previous sales and customer service role and the ability to provide exceptional service to customers.
- Previous experience & knowledge in agricultural industry & environments is an asset.
- Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Attention to detail, well organized and superior time management skills.
- Strong desire for current customer satisfaction & drive to attract new satisfied customers.
