About the Role:
Mawg Design is looking for a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our team. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in managing multi-material manufacturing projects, who possesses excellent communication and negotiation skills, and who can lead complex projects from initiation through to successful completion. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage large-scale projects from initiation to completion, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.
- Utilize project management tools to track project progress and drive deadlines.
- Conduct requirements-gathering sessions with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
- Oversee product development processes to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to facilitate project success.
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Negotiate with vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
- Implement change management processes to handle project scope changes effectively.
- Source and specify off-site materials and services, including plastics, metal, wood, packaging, and installation as required.
- Collaborate with sales, account managers, detailing, and production to achieve team goals.
- Support the maintenance of critical project paths, providing job estimates and cost reviews.
- Organize and directly supervise installations.
- Liaise with outside suppliers to build key relationships and secure competitive quality options.
- Ensure client expectations are met and exceeded in terms of product and service quality.
- Update project status at checkpoints, review deliverables with stakeholders, and work with cross-functional teams to facilitate tracking and execution.
- Oversee the process from the initial project request to final delivery.
- Manage and process bills of materials, packing slips, and work orders, including the preparation of quotes and purchase orders.
- Handle costing of resources needed to complete products.
- Process necessary internal documentation as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in program management and leading large-scale projects.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar industry, preferably in marketing/display manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of project planning, execution, and monitoring processes.
- Ability to read and interpret detailed drawings.
- Experience managing 5-10 projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of change management principles and techniques.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
