Contents Supervisor – WINMAR Saskatoon
The Contents Supervisor is responsible for managing all contents-related restoration projects from initial pack-out through cleaning, storage, inventory control, and return of customer belongings. This role leads contents technicians, ensures quality standards are met, maintains accurate documentation, and delivers exceptional customer service throughout the restoration process.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable leading a team, and committed to helping customers through difficult situations.
Compensation
$22.00 – $28.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
Experience in restoration, contents processing, inventory management, or leadership roles is considered an asset.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage contents restoration projects from start to finish.
- Coordinate pack-outs, cleaning, deodorization, storage, and pack-back services.
- Create and maintain detailed contents inventories using restoration software and barcode systems.
- Ensure proper handling, documentation, and storage of customer belongings.
- Oversee specialty cleaning processes including electronics, textiles, documents, and household contents.
- Conduct quality control inspections before contents are returned to customers.
Team Leadership
- Supervise and support Contents Technicians.
- Schedule staff and assign daily work priorities.
- Train new employees on contents procedures, safety protocols, and company standards.
- Monitor productivity and ensure projects remain on schedule.
- Participate in hiring, performance reviews, coaching, and disciplinary discussions as required.
Customer Service
- Meet with customers to explain restoration processes and expectations.
- Maintain regular communication regarding project status and timelines.
- Address customer concerns professionally and promptly.
- Ensure a positive customer experience during all phases of the restoration process.
Documentation & Administration
- Maintain accurate job files, inventories, photographs, and documentation.
- Complete required paperwork and reporting in a timely manner.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Estimators, Insurance Adjusters, and Office Staff.
- Track contents storage locations and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Ensure billing documentation is complete and submitted promptly.
Safety & Equipment
- Follow all WINMAR and Occupational Health & Safety requirements.
- Ensure staff use proper PPE and safe work practices.
- Maintain contents cleaning equipment and inventory systems.
- Keep warehouse, storage, and contents processing areas organized and professional.
Qualifications Required
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to lift and move contents weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency with computers, mobile devices, and digital documentation.
Assets
- Previous restoration or contents restoration experience.
- Supervisory or leadership experience.
- IICRC Certifications (FSRT, OCT, TCST, WRT, AMRT).
- Experience with Encircle, Xactimate, DASH, PSA, or similar restoration software.
- Forklift certification.
