Responsibilities
- Safely remove and install tires using hand tools and power tools, ensuring proper fitment and alignment
- Conduct tire inspections to identify wear patterns, punctures, or other damages requiring repair or replacement
- Perform wheel balancing, rotation, and alignment services to optimize vehicle performance
- Assist customers by explaining tire options, maintenance needs, and recommended services with a friendly attitude
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues related to tires and related automotive components
- Lift heavy tires and equipment safely during installation or removal tasks, adhering to safety protocols
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure all tools are properly stored after use
Experience
- Previous dealership or automotive repair shop experience preferred but not required; on-the-job training available
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, especially tires and wheels
- Experience using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, tire irons, and power tools like impact wrenches
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods
- Familiarity with automotive maintenance procedures and basic sales techniques is a plus
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
