Overview
As a Product Associate, you will be responsible for providing analytical support to help shape, influence, and design solutions that enable the Product Management Team to achieve their objectives. This role involves managing workstation computer equipment, making experience and interest in this area essential. You will engage with stakeholders cross-functionally to plan, strategize, analyze, and document results, as well as assist with forward planning.
Responsibilities
- Produce and circulate regularly scheduled reports to the Product Management Team.
- Provide analytical insight into group performance.
- Coordinate and facilitate ongoing reviews of business processes and develop optimization strategies.
- Manage the sourcing of workstation computer equipment, ensuring strategic vendor partnerships and distribution to retail locations based on demand forecasts.
- Handle vendor management, negotiating prices and maintaining good relationships to secure the best deals.
- Conduct meetings and presentations to effectively communicate findings and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
- Produce and review seasonal sell-through reports and support the Product Management team in executing end-of-season plans.
- Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, and uncover areas for improvement in planning, inventory replenishment, demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and allocation.
- Interact and coordinate with the Product Team to understand and document business requirements to improve reporting and data availability.
- Train and socialize analytical tools and capabilities with the broader business.
- Perform annual, quarterly, and in-season planning analysis.
- Manage workstation computer equipment, ensuring proper setup, maintenance, and optimization.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Degree in Business or a related field required.
- Strong knowledge and keen interest in computer equipment.
- Hardworking, willing to learn, attention to detail and strong numeric sense.
- Proven ability to work in a complex environment, simultaneously manage multiple tasks, and effectively prioritize to meet timelines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and negotiation skills.
- Proven team player who is both flexible and adaptable.
- Proficient computer skills
