Duties
- Deliver freshly prepared dishes from the kitchen to guests efficiently, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
- Clear and reset tables swiftly to maintain a clean, organized dining space that invites guests to relax and enjoy their meal.
- Assist servers with food running duties, including refilling beverages and delivering additional items as needed.
- Support the cleaning of dining areas by wiping down tables, chairs, and surfaces to uphold hygiene standards.
- Restock service stations with necessary supplies such as utensils, napkins, condiments, and glassware.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate timely service and address guest needs promptly.
- Maintain food safety standards by handling dishes carefully and following proper sanitation procedures.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Familiarity with customer service principles helps create memorable guest interactions.
- Experience with food preparation, serving, or barista work enhances your ability to support the team effectively.
- Knowledge of POS (Point of Sale) systems like Micros POS or cashiering experience is a plus for handling transactions smoothly.
- Background in hospitality or hotel services can provide a strong foundation for guest-focused roles.
- Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating with team members and ensuring guest satisfaction.
