Job Overview:
Join our car dealership, where we pride ourselves on operational excellence and a seamless vehicle inventory process. We are looking for a detail-oriented Warehouse Worker/Material Handler to support our parts and accessories department. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate receiving, storage, picking, and distribution of automotive parts, fluids, tires, and accessories.
Responsibilities:
Parts & Accessories Receiving:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments of automotive parts, accessories, tires, batteries, oils, and fluids.
- Inspect parts for damage, correct part numbers, and proper packaging.
- Document and report any discrepancies, shortages, or damaged items to the Parts Manager immediately.
Order Picking & Staging:
- Accurately pick parts and accessories from warehouse shelves and bins based on work orders, technician requests, or retail customer orders.
- Stage parts for service technicians in designated pickup areas with clear labeling (customer name, RO number, bay number).
- Prepare retail customer orders for will-call or shipment.
Inventory Control:
- Perform regular cycle counts of high-value and fast-moving parts and accessories.
- Monitor stock levels and alert Parts Manager when reordering is needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory control.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Pay: $21.76-$25.74 per hour
