We are seeking a skilled Architectural Technologist with strong 3D Modeling/BIM expertise and real-world construction experience to support the design and detailing of prefabricated exterior wall panel systems and prefabricated cold formed steel load bearing wall systems. This role is ideal for someone who understands how buildings go together on-site and can translate construction requirements into precise, buildable 3D models and production drawings.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

SCHEDULE
- Full-Time (40 hours/week)
- Monday - Friday
- 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
DUTIES
- Create and manage detailed 3D models primarily in SketchUp for exterior wall panel systems
- Develop fabrication-ready drawings and assembly details from models
- Translate architectural and engineering drawings into buildable panel layouts
- Coordinate dimensions, openings, and structural interfaces with field requirements
- Work closely with site supervisors and installers to resolve design conflicts
- Support the production team with accurate cut lists and component breakdowns
- Maintain version control and model organization across multiple projects
- Identify constructability issues before panels reach the job site
- Assemble shop drawing packages
REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of CAD drafting/modeling experience (in construction)
- Strong proficiency in SketchUp
- Hands-on experience in construction (framing, drywall, or building envelopes)
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings
- Strong understanding of how buildings are assembled on-site
- Familiarity with exterior wall systems, framing, or prefabrication workflows
- High attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and layouts
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
