Vice President, Client Sales

The VP, Client Sales is responsible for developing and executing a strategic sales plan that support the Voices.com corporate strategy, promote sales growth and customer satisfaction. Reporting into the CEO, they are responsible for establishing and realizing sales targets to meet Voices.com corporate objectives. The ideal candidate is data driven, results focused with a proven ability to exceed sales targets quarter over quarter. They are an experienced and respected people leader with a proven track record of leading sales teams to optimum performance.

Responsibilities
Strategic
Develops annual sales strategy and associated execution plan that aligns to the Voices.com corporate strategy and objectives.
Recommends sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analysis.
Manages multiple sales channels.
Is familiar and successful with both inbound and outbound sales methodologies, as well as the delivery of a managed services function
Skilled negotiator who evokes a win/win philosophy
Ensures a balanced scorecard that supports sales plan objectives and meets organizational expenditure requirements in conjunction with VP of Marketing and VP of Product.
Performance
Established track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
Data driven, analytical, intuitive and results driven
Reliant on both quantitative and qualitative analysis
Ability to instinctively identify opportunities for sales growth and improvement and institute measures to implement.
Ability to utilize sales data to identify obstacles quickly and develop mitigation strategies to course correct.
Lead weekly pipeline reviews with sales management and the CEO

Create and foster a customer centric sales culture
Highly motivational leader that earns the respect of the sales team and overall organization
Responsible for leading managers of the sales function and indirectly responsible for sales employees.
Motivates and leads the team by setting and emulating professionalism, integrity and strong work ethic
Ability to communicate to various audiences ranging from entry level sales agent to the Board of Directors.
Strong people leader with a focus on high-performance and accountability.
Approachable leadership style that fosters collaboration, team building, innovation, respect and high engagement from sales team totaling 50+.

Technical
Familiarity with Salesforce.com an asset
Tableau or other sales business intelligence application experience a plus
Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets, Powerpoint or Google Presentations
Proficient in producing and delivering effective presentations for various audiences ranging from entry level sales to the Board of Directors.

Must possess expertise in selling strategies and methodologies, strategic planning and execution, and employee motivation techniques.

Additional Considerations
Ability to travel legally throughout North America and Europe
This position requires travel from time to time, typically in the US once or twice a month.
Ability to carry some travel expense and submit monthly for reimbursement.
Ability to achieve a clean financial and criminal background check
Educational Requirements
7 to 10 years experience in a senior sales leadership role, specifically as Director, VP or SVP, working with C-level executives.
Multi-year experience working in B2B sales in a leadership capacity.
SaaS or enterprise sales experience.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales and marketing or related field.
