This position maintains accounting records, performs month-end close along with reconciliations, prepares consolidated financial statements and various reports, and assists with the budgeting process.
The starting salary range for this position is $74,000 - $93,000 CAD, with the final salary determined by the successful candidate's skills, experience, and anticipated impact within the role.

Major Accountabilities:
1 Maintains accounting records for assigned business units
2 Prepares consolidated financial statements and reports
3 Assists with various yearend audits including Group, Standalone
4 Prepares intercompany accounting documents and reports
5 Assists with the annual budgeting process
General Responsibilities:
- Maintains the accounting records of assigned business units and produces various month-end reports
- Works directly with other members of finance management and ensures an accurate and timely
monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process.
- Prepares consolidated financial statements for both external and internal reporting purposes.
- Assists in the preparation of financial statements notes and audit schedules.
- Liaises with auditors for annual audit requirements along with any ad-hoc audit requests from other entities (e.g. CRA or WorksafeBC audits).
- Performs complex, cross-border intercompany reconciliation and prepares intercompany invoices.
- Prepares monthly GST and PST returns
- Assists with the annual budgeting process for corporate costs
- Assists in corporate tax preparation and instalment payments for the US and Canada
- Prepares Statistics Canada surveys.
- Performs other related duties as required
Education / Experience:
- Preferred completion of recognized professional accounting program
- 4-5 years related experience
