Job Type: Full-time - 40-45 Hours per week; Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Rate: Salary and bonus commensurate with qualifications and experience

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our team and drive our company towards future success.
Position Summary:
The General Manager will oversee all facets of the company's operations, ensuring compliance with various standards and regulations. The role requires a strategic leader with strong management skills and a deep understanding of engineering, production, safety, quality management, and human resources.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of company operations, including finance, administration, procurement, production, engineering, quality management, safety, HR, sales, and insurance.
- Delegate authority to subordinate managers and ensure alignment with company policies and standards.
- Ensure compliance with Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act, Alberta Labor Standards, Canadian Human Rights Act, ABSA regulations, and ISO 9001 standards.
- Promote and implement the safety program and plant maintenance schedule.
- Develop and execute strategic plans in alignment with company goals, providing strategic direction for sales and marketing.
- Implement HR policies in compliance with labor standards and human rights regulations, conducting performance evaluations and recommending compensation adjustments.
- Implement and maintain a Quality Management System compliant with ISO 9001 and ABSA requirements, ensuring all necessary registrations and certifications are current.
- Promote continuous improvement by initiating actions to prevent nonconformities, and encouraging innovation and efficiency among employees.
- Maintain and grow strategic customer and vendor relationships, especially with overseas partners, ensuring compliance with trademark and partnership agreements.
- Ability to occasionally travel to India, Korea, China, and the United States for business purposes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Extensive knowledge of safety regulations, quality management systems, and human resource policies.
- Proven leadership skills with a strategic mindset and strong decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building strong relationships.
- Ability to handle complex projects and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
