Duties:
- Weld and fabricate light gauge Hollow Metal Frames and Doors according to shop drawings
- Ability to review drawings and read production sheets
- Safely operate welding equipment including MIG welders, saws, presses, punching equipment, grinders, jigsaws, and other hand tools
- Ability to operate Forklifts
- Work independently
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members
Skills:
- Weld and Fabricate light gauge Metal
- Attention to detail
- Focused on producing high-quality orders
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and shop drawings
- Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship
- Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues during the fabrication process
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy materials
Experience:
- 1-2 years of welding and fabricating experience
- Experience operating a forklift
- Experience working with Hollow Metal Frames and Doors
Note: Prior experience as a fabricator/welder is preferred for this position, however, we will train.
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
