DESCRIPTION: Global Cynergies (GC), www.globalcynergies.com, a worldwide, hotel and venue sourcing company (MICE & Group sector), is looking for experienced Hotel, Meeting/Event and Conference sales professionals with the ability to prospect new clients to add to their existing client base. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business development - develop a portfolio of clients and provide complimentary hotel and venue sourcing services utilizing GC's business methodology; anywhere in the world.
Solicit, negotiate and generate contracted revenue for guest rooms and other meeting & event components from prospects/clients that meet established criteria.
Accurately prepare and present "requests for proposals" utilizing GC's business procedures ensuring value to client.
Prospect for new business using a wide variety of methods including phone calls, digital marketing, attending networking functions, internet research, existing relationships, etc.
Properly communicate client's requirements and objectives during handoff to conference service manager.
Ensure repeat business by providing reminders of important dates/deliverables, following up after events and providing cost savings reports.

SKILLS:
Relational selling skills a must!
Computer skills to include word processing, spreadsheet, outlook, and utilization of a CRM.
Excellent communication, presentation, organization, time management and listening skills.
Focused and self-confident to launch a new business.
Commitment and discipline to dedicate an average of 20 hours per week to sales and customer service

QUALIFICATIONS:
