Summary:
DSR Contracting Inc. is currently seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for various carpentry tasks, including framing, installing fixtures, and finishing work. This is a full-time, permanent position offering competitive compensation and opportunities for growth within our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general carpentry tasks such as framing, installing doors and windows, and finishing work.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine carpentry requirements.
- Measure, cut, and shape materials accurately to ensure proper fit and finish.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards and regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools commonly used in carpentry.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Working from heights certification (preferred).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
