IT Services Solution Consultant
The IT Services Solutions Consultant is responsible for leading the technical sales process to align Ricoh IT Services and Solutions with the customers technical and business requirements. They must be able to present complex solution explanations and demonstrations to both business and technical customer groups. This includes a wide range of infrastructure, network, security, or managed services offerings.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Educate account executive and business development teams on our IT Services portfolio and how to position our solutions to build customer value and drive revenue growth.
- Attend onsite or remote technical discovery meetings to scope, define and design solution offerings.
- Conduct in-depth technical discussions with customer and customer’s partners to guide and advise customer on relevant technology choices
- Assist the sales team with configuration of opportunities with the right products and services in Ricoh Canada’s CRM. Review pricing to ensure sales team is completing requires services risk assessments and maintaining profitability on each deal.
- Work closely with vendor partners, marketing and internal purchasing team to create bill of material for recommended solutions
- Estimate levels of effort and costs for each specific project and work with the professional services delivery team to validate deliverables of each project
- Develop technical presentations and proposals, and perform customer presentations along with the sales team
- Assist with responding to technical questions in RFIs and RFPs
- Oversee technical solution delivery of client projects and leadership of the QA process prior to project closure
- Assist with responding to technical questions in RFIs and RFPs
- Prioritize and execute tasks in a high-energy fast paced environment
- Encourage and build positive relationships with key customers and Ricoh internal resources;
- Direct the planning, assessment and development of new business opportunities in partnership with other divisions of Ricoh Canada;
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary Education
- 3+ years of experience in a client facing role providing technical assessments or architecting solutions
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a sales, analyst, support, or consultation role
- Minimum of 5 years managed services sales experience
- Industry-related training or certifications (Microsoft, Lenovo, VMware, Veeam, Barracuda, Cisco, Fortinet)
- ITIL Certification preferred
Skills:
- Candidates must be fluently bilingual in French and English
- Experience with setting goals by defining and prioritizing specific, realistic objectives. Must be a leader, individual and strategic thinker
- Ability to coach and mentor team members and provide constructive guidance where necessary
- Excellent presentation skills
- Proven track record in managing customer deployments
- Ability to manage conflict and effectively problem solve in a fast paced, high stress environment. Proficient in the use of standard business software applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent negotiation skills Ability to motivate individuals and groups by creating a positive work environment
- Ability to facilitate strategy and roadmap sessions, supported by key team members.
Other requirements:
- Requires a valid driver's license and reliable transportation as this position involves local travel on a regular basis (and auto insurance coverage per Ricoh's policy)
- Up to 50% travel required due to business needs (when travel is appropriate and approved)
