The Opportunity
Our Risk team provides comprehensive risk services that help companies around the world evaluate and enhance their risk management and internal audit functions. Professionals in this role will work within the Risk Advisory – Enterprise Risk group to evaluate and test business process controls, management review controls and application controls to support financial statement audits, service organizational control reporting as well as internal audit projects. Join our stream as an Enterprise Risk Manager or Senior Manger.
Your key responsibilities
As an Enterprise Risk professional, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive risk services through a suite of strategic, outsourcing, and industry-focused operational recommendations that help companies around the world evaluate and enhance their internal audit and risk management functions. We plan, lead and perform internal audit, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and risk advisory projects in accordance with the client's risk management strategy, resulting in the identification of control enhancements, operational and compliance process improvements and efficiency opportunities as well as company-wide cost improvements.
You will also be responsible for establishing relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels. Consistently delivering quality client services, monitoring progress, managing risks and ensuring key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes while staying abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client’s business
We are hiring into our Enterprise Risk group in the following roles
Senior Manager: As a senior manager, you will work closely with the Partner(s) to craft strategies, manage projects and deliver recommendations to help our clients with their most pressing issues. You will also be responsible for:
Planning and executing reviews around the effectiveness of internal controls and other special reviews or mandates
Developing reports and client presentations
Project Management and delivery
Team management and coaching
Involvement in developing and maintaining productive relationships with clients
Project oversight and delivery; team management and coaching; as well as developing and maintaining productive relationships with client
Leading full life-cycle mandates
Independently leading and managing clients and contributing to the practice’s development
Skills and Attributes for Success
To qualify for this role, you must have
Between 8-10 years of relevant experience
Be fully Bilingual in French and English
Relevant designations e.g. CPA, CISA, etc. or demonstrated interest in pursuing and completing the required examinations
Demonstrated competence in one or more of the following: SOX, ICFR and ITGS
Proficiency with MS Office, including MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint
Experience leading and coaching teams of varying sizes
Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
A valid driver’s license driver’s license and passport or be in the process of obtaining these documents
