Responsibilities
- Provide professional barbering services including haircuts, trims, shaves, and grooming tailored to client preferences
- Deliver excellent customer service by engaging with clients in a friendly and professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all work areas, tools, and equipment in compliance with health regulations
- Assist at the front desk by scheduling appointments, managing walk-ins, and handling client inquiries
- Upsell additional services or retail products to enhance client satisfaction and increase sales
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their grooming needs and offer style recommendations
- Keep the work environment organized, hygienic, and welcoming for all clients
Qualifications
- Proven experience in barbering or hair styling with a strong portfolio of work
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety standards in a salon setting
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Ability to upsell retail products and promote additional services confidently
- Experience working at the front desk or handling retail sales is a plus
