Due to the volume of applications received, only those selected for interviews will be contacted.Work is primarily oilfield related, which normally requires travel to the Customers’ work sites. An employee may be required to work away from home for a scheduled period of time. TOMCO pays most of the costs incurred for this including travel, hotels or work camps, and meals. Employees may be required to work shift work and weekends.
Employees must adhere to strict safety policies and procedures at all times to ensure the safety of everyone on the job site. Safety tickets are required, and periodic drug testing may be required as per industry standards.
Training & Tickets:
Employees must have related experience in oilfield specialty services (see “Type of Work” below).
Safety tickets include: H2S - Fall Protection - TDG - WHMIS - First Aid - Confined Space - CSTS
Employees must also hold a valid driver’s license with a clean abstract.
To be successful in their trade, our technicians need to: use their hands skillfully and quickly and have a good eye for detail, have mechanical ability, perform lifting and physical labour, work independently, work well as part of a team and take direction from supervisors, have basic computer knowledge and neat, accurate paperwork.
Type of Work:
Employees will be cross-trained in a variety of oilfield specialty services which may include:
cold pipe cutting and beveling - hydrotesting - isolations - controlled bolting – machining - PWHT
