Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Chef/Cook to join our culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly to maintain freshness and prevent contamination
- Serve meals efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and taste
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with health regulations
- Follow food safety procedures at all times, including proper handling of utensils, equipment, and ingredients
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
Experience
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal presentation
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with kitchen equipment operation is advantageous
- Strong serving skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Background in the food industry or culinary training is a plus
