Excavator Operator - Mulcher
3 years minimum production with Excavator
Proficient in ditch and adverse terrain work
Professional and safety oriented, leadership and team skills required
Proficient Mulching, forestry work, fine grading and finesse with excavator
Preferred candidate will have the following qualifications-
- Chainsaw Safety
- Experience using 15T excavator
- Experience using Forestry Mulcher attachments
- Experience using gas powered equipment
- Experience using pruners, sheers and other arborist equipment
- Confident, safe, and efficient in all aspects of tree removal and pruning operations including; working in proximity to utility lines, road ways,
Job Duties-
- Operate 15T excavator with Mulcher attachment
- Operate 6T excavator with Grapple to mechanically feed woodchipper
- Move access matting with excavator
- Use Chainsaw to fell out of reach trees away from utility lines
- Provide pruning and removal of trees up to electrical limits of approach
- Capable of maintenance of truck, chipper and trimming equipment
- General labour activities
Education/Assets/Other-
- Class 3 Drivers license
- Condition 15
- Experience floating equipment
- Electrical safety and awareness and understanding
- Chainsaw sharpening and maintenance, wood chipper and stump grinder maintenance
- Heavy Equipment formal training
- Mulcher teeth sharpening
Wage based on experience
