As a Field Survey Tech you will primarily work in the field under the direction of a Project Manager working on a wide range of projects from land development, topographic and rights-of-way surveys for infrastructure and capital works projects, construction and monitoring surveys, surveys on First Nation lands and many other diverse types of surveys.
Qualification & Requirements
Applicants should have experience in data collection in the field using a variety of tools including Data Collectors, Robotic Total Stations, GNSS rovers, and Drones in a land surveying business. Understanding of diligent legal survey evidence, searching and accurate, neat Field Notes is required.
Survey or Geomatics technology diploma;
Minimum 3 years work experience in a legal survey office environment;
Valid BC driver’s license;
Familiarity with Civil 3D, Microsurvey, StarNet and Leica Infinity is an asset.
