We currently have an opening for an Experienced Full-Time Administrative Assistant / Bookkeeper to work in our Calgary office.
Responsibilities
- Prepare Client Invoices
- Prepare Payroll deposits
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail and emails
- Organize and prepare monthly tax files for accounting
- Review and approve Incoming invoices
- Prepare and issue payment for subcontractors
- Perform clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry
- Print and organize incoming tickets daily
- Track and record employee hours daily
- Maintain a clean and organized office environment
- Assist with human resources tasks, such as onboarding new employees and maintaining employee records
- Pay bills and invoices as directed
- Anwer phone calls and greet visitors with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette
- Assist with other office / clerical duties as required
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Strong attention to detail for accurate data entry and record keeping
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with colleagues, clients, and vendors
- Knowledge of Sage 50 is an asset
- Experience with financial record-keeping is an asset
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Excellent phone etiquette for professional communication with clients and colleagues
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Positive Attitude and able to work under pressure
- Able to work with and adhere to deadlines
