Ready to join a dynamic team tasked with defining manufacturing strategies at BRP? Within a primary mission of optimizing our Logistics operations, the Project Lead, Packaging & Logistics will implement packaging systems and processes that align with the supply chain of our Global Distribution, PA&V Group.
WHY JOIN THE TEAM?
The Project Lead, Packaging & Logistics is responsible for defining, producing and enhancing all product packaging for BRP products, and improving the supply chain through enhanced packaging.
You will act as a key change agent in integrating new and innovative packaging types for our vehicle components, across all of our product lines.
You will summarize all information and build family groups for parts in order to standardize our packaging processes.
You will work in close collaboration with a variety of multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on a global scale, leveraging your skills and influence in packaging and project management with numerous stakeholders.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Establishing an automated Packaging workflow system for workstations;
Setting up workflow instructions - Packaging - to standardize operations and minimize required time and labour;
Identifying and developing alternative packaging solutions to reduce breakage and claims within our supply chain packaging process;
Acting as a specialist and resource person for analysis and resolution of everyday packaging issues;
Analyzing logistics data and costs to target and seize priority packaging opportunities;
Conducting feasibility studies relating to packaging projects with strong cost reduction potential;
Leading a technological and strategic watch by staying current on best industry practices.
Technical diploma in mechanical engineering or Bachelor’s degree in logistics/mechanics, supply chain, industrial engineering, operational/logistics management, or other relevant field.
Minimum two (2) years’ supply chain experience.
Proficiency in Excel and PivotTables (particularly for data processing).
Bilingual (French and English, spoken and written) – proficiency level of 4/5.
Knowledge of SAP (WM, MM, PP) is an asset.
Ability to communicate and summarize complex information for a variety of audiences.
