Job Summary:
Border Plumbing, Heating & Electrical is seeking a skilled HVAC Installer to join our team. The HVAC Installer will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems mainly in residential applications and occasionally in a commercial setting.
Responsibilities:
- Install HVAC systems including ductwork, piping, wiring, and controls
- Perform mechanical work such as bolting, welding, soldering, and brazing
- Test HVAC systems to ensure proper functioning
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems as needed
- Maintain accurate records of work performed
Skills:
- Proficient in mechanical knowledge and techniques
- Ability to build, plumb, weld, and maintain HVAC systems
- CFC certified (preferred)
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and components
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
You must also be able to lift up to 50+ pounds and push, pull, or carry heavy objects. You must be able to maneuver heavier objects with assistance from appropriate devices or additional manpower. You must be able to climb ladders and work in small crawl spaces.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $27.00-$40.00 per hour
