Under the direction of the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), the incumbent will coordinate efforts between the Town of Hawkesbury, the consultants, municipal departments, stakeholders, and the public to ensure the successful implementation of this strategic initiative.
Requirements

Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written

Post-secondary Diploma in economic development, public administration, business administration or any other related field

A minimum of three (3) years of experience preferably in economic development, project management, or municipal administration

Excellent writing skills and ability

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other software tools (Adobe, SharePoint)

Willingness to work outside normal business hours during events, as needed

Ability to build professional relationships with various stakeholders

Good knowledge of funding and economic support programs

Be legally authorized to work in Canada for the duration of the employment
Remuneration
This is a one-year contract, full-time position (35 hours/week) with an hourly wage between $31.67 and $38.54.
