Eaton’s Electrical sector is currently seeking a Post Sales Support Representative to join our team. This position is based at our Burlington, Ontario location.
The Post Sales Support Representative will serve as the key contact for quick resolution of post sales commercial and technical issues, maintaining customer satisfaction and minimizing costs associated with the resolution of these issues. This role will be responsible for working within the parameters of quality, warranty policies, and other functional groups, to ensure customer issues and warranty concerns are resolved.

In this function you will:
Utilize the CQM process for each issue by providing timely input and on-going updates to all parties
Provide support interface and expertise between operations and customers (including Sales and Services)
Coordinate with Operations to initiate purchase orders to authorize Services to resolve customer issues
Ensure resolution of issues is according to warranty procedures and policies
Determination of root cause, permanent resolution, verification, trend analysis and accurate reporting of customer issues
Analysis of all CQM warranty issues monthly, initiate required corrective action requests and ensure effective and validated solutions are implemented
Obtain approval from Product Managers to proceed with issues requiring business concessions
Provide assistance to our customer, Sales, Services and Operations to resolve any discrepancies
Provide project coordination assistance to the team based on business volumes and team requirements
Process internal Services orders for Canada
Communicate effectively with project managers, plants, field Sales, Services and customers to ensure accurate, on-time resolutions of post sales issues

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technologist Diploma
Minimum of 1 year of combined engineering, quality, warranty and customer service experience, or university co-op experience
Knowledge of power distribution and control equipment
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 80 KM radius of Burlington will be considered
Must be authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship
Exposure to quality and warranty policies
Bi-lingual in French
Commercial exposure to project coordination
