The Role
We're looking for a Red Seal Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician to join our Service Team covering Nanaimo and the Central Vancouver Island region. You'll be the person homeowners and business owners call when something needs fixing right, handling a mix of residential and commercial service work where no two days look quite the same.
We want someone who takes pride in the work, communicates well with customers, and can think on their feet in a fast-paced service environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical issues in residential and commercial properties
- Pulling cable and terminating patch panels
- Testing data lines (Fluke tester) and handling fiber optic terminations and splicing
- Keeping clear, accurate service documentation and reports
- Building good relationships with customers and teammates alike
- Managing your own workload independently while staying connected to the team
What You Bring
- Red Seal Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician certification
- Hands-on experience in residential and commercial service work
- Solid troubleshooting instincts and a problem-solving mindset
- A professional, customer-first approach
- Bonus points for experience with data cabling, fibre optics, and related testing
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving abstract
