In this role, you will:
Provide superior service in a processing role while always looking to create efficiencies, demonstrate resourcefulness, exceptional communication skills and impeccable attention to detail
Your Responsibilities

Gather background information on new commercial business
Enter and organize certificates of insurance, renewals, abeyances, letters of experience, quotes, inspections and BI&I into the commercial insurance systems
Enter data, coding off-system policies, endorsements, forms and letters
Maintain electronic logs and account specific spreadsheets
Order required reports on policies (inspections)
Code with accuracy into the policy administration system all renewals
Complete specific policy tasks - ordering loss runs, billing inquiries
Follow up on abeyances, entering certificates of insurance
Work closely with the regional Underwriting Technician as well as the regional Underwriters
Assit with general office and other duties as required
Your Skills and Experience

High school diploma and relevant work experience
Preference will be given to candidates with a university degree, college diploma or willingness to obtain a CIP designation
Strong computer skills
Previous experience working with case management tools, portals or databases is an asset
Excellent attention to detail
Bilingualism (written and spoken English and French) is considered an asset
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in an underwriting support role
