Pacer Building Components, is hiring an experienced Bookkeeper to join our amazing team, located in Ilderton, ON.Pacer is one of Canada’s fastest growing, publicly traded, supplier of trusses, and engineered products, with manufacturing and distribution facilities throughout the country.
The ideal candidate will be flexible, adaptable, detail-oriented and motivated, with a focus on providing a high degree of external and internal customer service as we grow our team and business!
As a keystone role in supporting the day-to-day bookkeeping activities across multiple AEP locations in PROVINCE. this position will provide accountin and general administrative support, helping to ensure the smooth operation of our location.. The ideal candidate will have an excellent ability to work in a busy and growing organization and have proven experience working both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. As Bookkeeper for this busy facility, clear communication, cooperation, and collaboration will be crucial for success.

Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Full-cycle bookkeeping support including invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, collections, payroll processing, bank reconciliations, and monthly statements
- Support for year-end audit preparation and government filings (GST, PST, Source Deductions, etc.)
- Assistance with inventory tracking and reporting
- Reception duties including greeting visitors, answering phones, and directing inquiries
- General administrative tasks such as filing, organizing documents, managing office supplies, and supporting other departments as needed
- Providing internal support for team members and assisting in coordinating office activities
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in full-cycle bookkeeping
- Experience with payroll processing is an asset
- Familiarity with ERP systems is an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks while working with multiple locations
- Customer-service oriented, organized, and detail-focused
- Experience in construction, building supply, or multi-location businesses is an asset
- Fluency in English (written and verbal)
