Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Painter Helper to assist experienced painters in residential, commercial, and industrial painting projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in construction painting, restoration, and related trades. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, dependable, and possess a strong work ethic. Prior experience in construction or related fields is a plus but not required. This position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and attention to detail to ensure high-quality results on every project.
Duties
- Assist with surface preparation including caulking, sanding, and masking to ensure smooth paint application
- Support the application of paint using hand tools and power tools under supervision
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or priming prior to painting
- Mix paints and other materials accurately according to project needs
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely
- Assist with restoration projects involving detailed carpentry or industrial painting tasks.
Skills
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interactions
- Good time management skills to meet project deadlines efficiently
- Experience with residential, commercial, or industrial painting is a plus
