Parents Peace Of Mind Childcare' is seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Early Childhood Educator to join our team. This vital role involves fostering a positive learning environment for young children in our childcare center, contributing to their growth and development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that support early childhood learning.
- Provide attentive care and supervision for children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Manage classroom activities to promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress.
- Support children with special needs through tailored activities and interventions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance educational practices.
- Follow all licensing regulations and center policies to ensure compliance.
Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Registered Early Childhood Educator.
- Standard First Aid + CPR- Level C
- Valid Police Clearance - Vulnerable Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
- Proven experience working with young children in a childcare or preschool setting.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and activities.
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques.
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to children's well-being.
- Prior experience supporting children with diverse needs is a plus.
