R&M Construction is a local, family run company that specializes in restoring natural waterways. We are based in Acton, Ontario and operate year round. Our projects include creek restoration, shoreline protection, stormwater management pond retrofits and much more.
We are looking for a dedicated, full time Construction Labourer to join our team. As a Construction Labourer, you will assist in various construction projects, working closely with heavy equipment operators ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
Duties:
- Provide general labour on job sites including clearing, planting, installing silt fence, shoveling, raking and using various small equipment
- Work closely alongside heavy equipment operators to efficiently complete tasks
- Assist with concrete forming and pouring
- Assist with setting up pumps and hoses
- Assist with traffic control as needed
- Follow all health and safety regulations on-site
Requirements:
- Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
