Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, motors, PLCs, and control panels.
Install, test, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical and electronic equipment.
Operate, monitor, and maintain boilers, compressors, pumps, and HVAC systems in compliance with Power Engineer certification requirements.
Conduct regular inspections and ensure all equipment, including boilers, runs safely, efficiently, and within regulatory standards.
Maintain accurate logs, boiler operating records, and maintenance reports.
Follow safety protocols, including lockout/tagout and compliance with Canadian Electrical Code (CEC).
Support process improvements and energy-saving initiatives.
Provide timely response to breakdowns and emergencies to minimize downtime.
Red Seal Industrial Electrician Certificate (or equivalent).
Power Engineer Certificate (minimum 4th Class; higher class an asset).
Demonstrated experience in boiler operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
3 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in manufacturing or processing environments.
Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, PLCs, VFDs, and automation systems.
Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is an asset.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
