Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated 310S Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, mechanical systems, and maintenance. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles with precision and efficiency, ensuring customer satisfaction and safety. The 310S Technician will utilize a variety of tools and schematics to perform repairs and assembly tasks, contributing to the overall performance and reliability of our service operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic assessments using schematics and technical manuals to identify vehicle issues
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs effectively
- Follow safety protocols during all repair procedures, including heavy lifting and handling of hazardous materials
- Assist in the installation of parts and components according to manufacturer specifications
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used for each vehicle
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and customer expectations
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations
Qualifications
- Proven dealership experience or relevant automotive repair background preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive maintenance and repair
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics interpretation
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds) as needed for parts handling or repairs
- Experience with vehicle assembly processes is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about repairs and maintenance needs
- Mechanic experience involving diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair procedures required
- Knowledge of automotive electrical systems and use of diagnostic scanners preferred
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
