Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Technician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring that assembly lines operate smoothly and peak efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor bottling and packaging lines
- Bottling with both automatic and manual equipment
- Capping with both automatic and manual equipment
- Labelling with both automatic and manual equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical or process isuues
- Identify bottlenecks and improve up-time and throughput
- Work closely with production management to maintain quality and output
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Be reliable and punctual
- Proven experience in manufacturing or machining environments is preferred.
- Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment is a plus.
- Strong understanding of basic math principles for measurements and calculations.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality control standards.
- Have a positive attitude
- Be able to lift 50lbs
- Enjoy working in a fast paced environment and keep up with the production line
- An asset to have basic computer, reading and writing skills
Ideal Background
- Manufacturing or production line experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Comfortable working with mechanical systems
- Mill, food, beverage or packaging experience is an asset
